Insurance Services: GAP

Full coverage insurance policies only cover the actual cash value of your vehicle - something that rapidly declines during the first years of ownership. During this time, you could easily owe more on your loan than your car is worth, and more than your full-coverage insurance policy will pay if your car is totaled.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) protects you and your entire investment from substantial loss by covering the "gap" between the vehicle's value and the amount you still owe if your vehicle is totaled or stolen. Compare our cost to any dealer cost and see the "Credit Union Difference".

Insurance Services: Credit Life Insurance & Disability Insurance

Although we all hope life doesn't throw us any unexpected health problems, we never know what's around the corner. That's why Scott Associates Credit Union offers Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance, so you and your family can rest easy with the knowledge that your financial obligations will be taken care of in an unexpected emergency.

Credit Life Insurance will pay off the remaining balance on your loan account in the event of your passing during the term of the original loan.

Credit Disability Insurance will pay the monthly payments on your loan account(s) if you become medically disabled and are unable to work during the term of the original loan.

The SACU offers insurance that is underwritten by The Minnesota Life Insurance Company that is paid at the member's expense.
